Happy Wednesday! Today I wanted to talk all about JUICE! I am currently one of Clean Juice Davidson’s Juice Boosters and I have absolutely loved working with them. I’ve been drinking lots of juices and combined with my workouts and a clean diet, I feel great. I also did a 1 day juice cleanse last week with them and I wanted to share my thoughts on that!

So about that cleanse! After a lot of traveling and eating a bit more indulgent food than I should have, I decided a cleanse would be good. I chose a 1 day, because I had never done it before and I just wanted to dip my toe in! The 1 day cleanse from Clean Juice includes 6 juices and you drink them in order, spaced out during the day.
When I told The Hubs I was doing it, he decided he wanted in on it, too! He went with the juice till dinner option, which includes 4 juices, followed by a clean dinner.
The Cleanse: The juices were generally really tasty. That green one in the middle was pretty potent. It tastes like wheatgrass juice and I hear people either love it or hate it. I was more on the latter side! I didn’t feel hungry during the day, which was one of my fears. But I wasn’t thirsty either! You are supposed to drink a lot of water in between, so I was flooding myself. Haha. The last drink of the day is made with cashew milk, so it was protein and filling. It was also absolutely delicious and I went to bed feeling satisfied.
The Aftermath: I slept really great and. went to my regular 5:15am class the next morning. I never eat before it and I wished I had that day. I wasn’t dizzy or anything, but I felt a bit weak. My stomach was very flat, I could see more of my abs than normal, I lost 3lbs and I felt amazing. It was a great mental reset as well, to get me off the idea of junk food and snacks. When you spend so much time focused on only filling your body with nutrients, you want to maintain that health! I’m not sure if I would want to do a cleanse longer than the 1 day or not. I just don’t know if I’m brave enough for that commitment! But I am also curious about how great I might feel if I did it for longer. I think the 1 day will become a standard for me after traveling or holidays, at least. It was easy having everything prepped and labeled and it just made me feel so good. I HIGHLY recommend it!
