Today marks one week unti lwe find out the gender of baby W #3! I am so anxious to pick a name, paint the nursery and be able to call our wee one a him or her! The boys are currently calling him/her “mosquito” in a whisper voice with more of a “qu” sound in it. It’s strange and I have no idea where it came from. Haha.
I have so many conflicting thoughts about the gender! When we talked about #3, I knew I wanted to be okay either way before getting pregnant and I honestly am. I am so happy with my boy mom life and feel like another one would just fit right in. Then I have Cooper who keeps saying that he only prayed for a girl, so it won’t be a boy!
I have signs that swing both ways:
Girl Signs:
Votes from The hubs and Cooper
Chinese Lunar calendar predicts girl (it was right for the boys!)
Carrying high
155 heart rate
Skin break outs
Intense morning sickness (had that with Callan, too)
Boy Signs:
Votes from Callan and me! I just feel like I’m a boy factory, so I’m expecting it will be another little man.
Salty cravings
There are pros and cons to both. I have everything I need if we have a boy. Literally everything. And I already have the coming home from the hospital outfit picked out if it’s a boy. It’s black and white and completely precious. If it’s a girl, we basically are starting over with a lot of things. Clothes, bedding, blankets and who knows what else! I also will probably spend way more on stuff if we have a girl. You’ve all seen what section has more stuff in it!
At the end of the day, I just really want to see a healthy baby with 10 fingers, 10 toes and all its body parts perfectly where they need to be next week. After that first ultrasound where you hear the heartbeat, this is the next big sigh of relief for me. Just to know everything is chugging along as it should be. After that, I will be just so happy to know! There’s an element of bonding, I think, when you know the gender and mercy I’m ready to get prepared! The hubs family is out of the country, so once we’re able to tell them the news, I will be sharing it with all of you!
But just for fun, are you voting blue or pink?

Well I've been in your shoes exactly and while I felt like the odds of a boy were higher (tons of boys on my husband's side and we already had two boys), I wanted a girl so bad! Of course now she's two and is my daily challenge. LOL. So be careful what you wish for.
I hope baby is healthy and can't wait to hear the gender! Sooo exciting! I was a NERVOUS WRECK before my ultrasound for baby #2. Seriously, ask my husband. 🙂

The Chinese gender thing never worked for me! Expecting #2 in June and we are having a girl, our son just turned 2in January and we thought we were def having another boy since my symptoms have been the same as my first pregnancy. Surprise! Lol and it seems like everyone I come across that is pregnant is having a girl.

I may be the only male here in this convo but I've been reading Mollie for a while and I have the feeling it's going to be a girl. I voted for a girl and noticed almost everyone has been voting for a girl too, ha! You create the cutest human beings Mollie, time for a baby girl to be part of the family.
