Lets just say Vegas was AMAZING.
I relaxed and partied more than I have in the past 2.5 years. I think it should be mandatory every year you’re a parent, actually.
When we got to the airport, I tried to call my mom to check on Coop, and my phone wouldn’t work. Black screen of death. I practically cried, then turned it off for the flight.
In Vegas, it turned on.
I called my mom. I tweeted about our driver holding our name on a sign and his black Escalade. Then about the full bar IN OUR ROOM.
Then it died. Again.
And I couldn’t show you all the fun things I was doing…like ziplining across a canyon at 50 MPH. It was a blast.
Just today, I finally got over my I’m depressed cause I’m no longer sipping cocktails in Vegas mood and went to Verizon. Only to find they won’t do anything.
So now I’m bummed again and can’t decide what phone to get. I really don’t want another crappy Storm, and I can’t go back to my stone age phone and patiently wait for Verizon to get me a freakin iPhone.
I never thought it would be this hard to be phone less!

I share your pain Molly! When we moved to Czech Republic in August, I turned my phone off when I boarded the plane. My cell had no sim card = no go! I haven't had a cell since 🙁 Recently, a teammate of Adam's gave me his "Stone Age" cell and believe me… I'd rather have NONE! Most keys don't work lol!! Happy you had a great time in Vegas!

I love my Motorola Droid! It blows the iphone out of the water, imho! I have the original but there is the Droid2 and the Droidx now, I think. I could never switch to AT&T for the iphone because the coverage where I live is crappy… Verizon is way better so I was SO excited when they released the droids because my blackberry was so lame… good luck!

I agree, Vegas should be mandatory for every parent every year!! My hubby and I usually try to make that happen!! LOVE VEGAS, and glad you had a great time. Sorry about your phone, my storm sucks too. Can't upgrade until January…thinking maybe the droid. Good luck on your search!

oh lady, the hubs and i go to vegas every year and we love it!! we always have such an awesome time!! bummer about the phone though…i would die!
