We went from 89 degrees on Monday to 59 yesterday. What in the world. Good thing I didn’t pack up my long sleeve stuff yet!
The only other time I wore this maxi dress was as a skirt when I was very pregnant. See the hugeness here.
I love the sheer top layer of this dress. Makes me feel a bit springy even though it totally doesn’t feel it outside. Oh, and how much better is my little garden in the background?! I feel so domestic with my herbs…now we’ll see if they grow!
If I had to name a pair of shoes my trusty spring/summer go-tos, it would be these Tar-jay cheapos.
Lord have mercy, Mama needs some color on those roots pronto.

Only bad thing about this outfit? Totally not nursing friendly. Thank goodness for really dark tint in the back of my car so the entire Target parking lot didn’t see me wrestle with my clothes.
As a fellow short girl, the maxi dresses at Old Navy are actually wearable with flats or flip flops.
And I LOVE wearing mine w/ a denim jacket. It's one of my favorite springy outtifts.

Thank god for tinted windows – I like to think they were invented solely for nursing moms. They really should start tinting the front windows for when you're… ahem… feeding in the back and need to grab your cell phone in the front and forget your boob is hanging out when you crawl up to get it… I mean… that's never happened to me before but I've heard about it 🙂
