Whenever I have events that require me being around the hubs coworkers, there is an added element of stress to picking out my outfit. I want the hubs to be all “hey, that’s my wife” while still looking classy and elegant.
Next month, one of the guys that works with him is getting married. We’ll be going away (just the 2 of us!) for the weekend and I’m looking forward to it. But, I’m stuck on my dress. 4pm ceremony, 6pm reception, everything at a country club. I always lean towards black lace and I’m trying to broaden my horizons a bit this time!

Which one is your favorite I still want to get out and try some stuff on, but my word. That’s easier said than done! I’ve almost got the rest of the weekend covered, so at least I’m making some progress. I”ll be flying alone and I can’t even imagine how glorious a single carryon, free hands to hold my Starbucks and a trashy magazine for the flight will be.

I wore #8 for an evening wedding in NYC. It was great, but for an earlier wedding I would do a dress with some color. Love #6! Have you tried Rent the Runway? I used them for 3 weddings this summer. I was able to wear 3 different dresses without spending the full price! 🙂
#2 or #6 would look great on you I think! Don't do black! Just my opinion:)
