I’m no beauty product pro, but I do have a face that enjoys a little pampering! I don’t want to spend much time or money making myself presentable, but I’ve learned that a little bit of care can go a long way in your look. And it’s not always what goes on top of your skin, but how you maintain it! Over the last several months, I’ve fallen for a few products that I’ve enjoyed enough to share with you in complete confidence. Here are my holy grail skin and beauty favorites!
Since getting my lash extensions off, I’ve really been nurturing my real lashes. I love the look of long, full lashes and these mascaras help get me that! I usually do one coat of each of these. The superhero mascara is thick and really gives a bold lash look. The blowout mascara makes impressively long and wispy lashes. The look together is awesome, but I can absolutely wear either on their own, depending on the look I’m going for.
I’ve nearly used a whole bottle of this (since Spring 2020) and I’m still loving it. I put on a few drops a night all over my face and it’s helped a ton with dryness. I also put a little on before my makeup and I feel like it gives me bit of a dewy look.
My micro blading has faded quite a bit and while I need to go get a touch up, I don’t want to go 2 weeks without hard workouts! I’ll probably get it redone soon, but for now, I’m loving this tattoo brows! You paint it on how you want your brows to look, then leave it on for 20 mins – 2 hours. It claims to last for 3 days, but if you don’t really scrub on that area, it will stay a bit longer! It’s kinda weird, as it paints on, peels off in a strip and basically colors your skin. But it works really well!
You won’t find me with heavy makeup in the summer, but in the winter, I tend to wear a bit more. I love this CC cream because it gives a full coverage look, hides imperfections, but still doesn’t feel heavy or drying. I’ve had this particular bottle for over a year and it’s about halfway gone. A little goes a long way!
These are technically eyebrow razors, but I use them to exfoliate my face. Yes, I shave my face. The whole thing. About once a week. It gets off so many dead skin cells, any peach fuzz and makes your makeup lay so much smoother. I think this is absolutely essential for people with dry skin, but really great for everyone. Here’s a good how to how-to article if you want more info about it!
The greatest thing for my confidence in the winter is a tan! I like the look of my skin so much better with a tan and this is the one I’ve been using all winter. It comes in a lighter version, if ultra dark feels too much for you. I use this about once a week, usually before the weekend, leave it on all night and shower the next day. It leaves no orange and gives me enough color to make it to summer!
This is another once a week product that I use. It’s very clean and gives a gentle exfoliation of your face. I like to use it before I use the self tanner, to make sure my face is prepped for a glow. I love that it’s made with coconut oil, so while it exfoliates, it’s also moisturizing.
