Spring Break doesn’t mean you have to travel! Check out our first day of Spring Break fun close to home!
1990. I walked through the doors of Chuck E. Cheese’s, clad in my favorite purple crop sweatshirt, with my closest friends. It’s one of my first vivid memories, as well as one that brings a smile to my face. I planned that Birthday party for months, it seemed. I knew that sprinkle covered cake was the best one I’d ever tasted and that I could eat it while watching Munch’s Make Believe Band. It was a Birthday Party to remember! I went on to have several parties there and still have fond memories of Chuck E Cheese!
So, when we woke up the first morning of Spring Break, to a torrential downpour, we asked the boys if they wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese’s! (Try me at skeet ball, boys.) They were all about it, so I jumped online to grab some coupons. (You can get the mobile app or go to the website to join the More Cheese Rewards program.) We got the $10 deal for All You Can Play, a free pizza, as well as getting rewards for our future visits, just for signing up!
Now, Chuck E Cheese’s is a bit different than it was when I was younger, but I’d argue even better. It’s really like a huge arcade, which is one of my boys favorite pastimes, but with entertainment and more for younger kids as well. I was really happy with their All You Can Play options that gave the boys a time limit, instead of limiting how many games they could play. It worked out perfectly and everyone played everything they wanted to!
Lincoln was grinning ear to ear the entire time, but he was more than thrilled to meet Chuck E. Cheese himself. The shrieks of excitement that came out of him were the best!
I do have to share this…I walked around the corner to see The Hubs and another dad. Not helping their kids play. Nope, they were in serious concentration mode, racking up those tickets. Haha.
If you’re looking for some Spring Break fun that won’t break the bank, look no more! Chuck E Cheese’s is still a fantastic place for a Birthday Party or just some good old rainy day fun! Make sure you sign up for More Cheese Rewards before your visit to get the best deals! The more you visit, the more rewards you earn!
Now hand over that cotton candy, boys. Momma loves that stuff!
