Christmas morning was pretty magical this year. I say that every year, but it’s true. Being a parent on Christmas is literally the best thing ever! We were home, just the 5 of us and didn’t do any travel around the holiday. It was very relaxing and I’m on a major struggle bus today, with the boys being back to school.
Our elf, Jack, gave us matching Christmas pajamas. I was really grateful to be included, until I pulled the women’s size small tag off on Christmas eve, to find they were actually kids size 12. Hence, there are no pictures of me standing, since I was wearing high waters that were a tad too tight on a holiday sized booty.
Scenes From Christmas
Lincoln was a blast this year. He squealed at everything and ripped open gifts regardless of who’s name was on them. He is obsessed with Jack Jack and is loving his new Woom balance bike! Other favorites this year were a ping pong table that the boys were both begging for, Chow Crown and some Warriors gear!
Our food is very traditional every year. Sausage bisquits and mimosas for breakfast, ham, mashed potatoes and lemon cream brussel sprouts for dinner. We also spent a little happy hour with our sweet neighbors somwhere in the middle of the day.
This year marked the point where I’ve spent as many Christmases (17!) with The Hubs as without. Feels weird to be at that point already! I hope your Christmas was spent loving on friends and family and that your hearts were full of the true reason for the season, Jesus’ birth!
