Awhile back, I posted some inspiration for our room since we were upgrading to a king bed. I finished getting all the bedding and took the pictures right before Lincoln was born, but didn’t get to post the pictures. I’m so happy with the look of our master bedroom now! We still didn’t decide on a headboard, so we’ll be adding some type of tufted one in the future, but for now, I’m loving the extra space in bed!
Since Lincoln was born, we actually changed sides of the bed, so I’m closer to the bathroom. I’ve been keeping the low light on so I can see to nurse and change diapers at night. This also means I can have the baby on the side away from the windows while The Hubs freezes himself out with the windows open on his side!
Speaking of baby, he’s sleeping in the HALO® Bassinest™ Swivel Sleeper Essentia Series and y’all, this thing is cool. With limited mobility after the c-section, it’s has been so handy. The Bassinest swivels so I can have Lincoln right next to me, then easily swing it around to get out of bed. The side also folds down so I can take him out without bending or leaning much. If you’ve had a c-section, you know what a major deal this is!
Lincoln loves a good swaddle, too. This HALO SleepSack Swaddle is super cool because it zips underneath the wrap portion. That way, you can just unzip the bottom for diaper changes and not worry about arms everywhere!
If you have, or will be having a baby soon, you have to check out the Bassinest! You can find out more about it from HALO on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or this video about it on YouTube.

Lincoln is giving me some serious baby fever! I miss having a swaddled baby sleeping in the bassinet next to our bed!

Beautiful! Love that bedspread and the art!
I would have loved a bassinet like that when I had my little guy in our room!
