Happy Monday! We had been slated to head south to our favorite vacation spot, 30A, for Spring break next week. After some change in plans, we decided to throw stuff in the car and head down a week early! This meant for some serious last minute packing, but thankfully, I already had most of the stuff in that I wanted to bring. We’re doing normal virtual school and sticking to our routine this week, then Spring break officially starts Friday! I have so many new things I love and old faithfuls that I wouldn’t consider leaving home, so here’s what’s in my bag: Spring break edition!
Tropical One Piece Bathing Suit
This is a new suit this year and I LOVE it. I already wore it out on the beach yesterday and it comes in several prints.
Ruffle Hem Dress
Can you really go wrong with a sundress on a beach trip? This one is adorable and comes in plenty of Spring colors.
Denim Cutoffs
Another beach essential, these fit so well, have some stretch and the perfect amount of distressing. Best of all, they’re under $20.
Straw Fedora
This has been a favorite now for 2 years. Great price and has held up perfectly.
Running Shorts
These are quite possibly the best running shorts ever! They are loose fitting, have a liner, come in tons of patterns and are $15. You really can’t go wrong!
Tory Burch Sandals
I don’t often spend this kind of money on shoes, but I can assure you they’ve been worth it! You can dress them up or down and they are so darn comfortable.
Ruffle Bikini
I can’t sing the praises of this cute suit enough. It’s going to give me bad tan lines, but it’s $10 and insanely impressive quality.
Where the Crawdads Sing
The beach is one of the few places I actually enjoy reading. I think it’s because I’m not surrounded by a house that has things that need to be done! I had lots of people recommend this book and so far, I’m loving it.
Colorful Kimono
This kimono is perfect to wear with jean shorts and a tank, or as a bathing suit coverup. The colors are so fun!
Bracelet Stack
Stretchy bracelets come in a set of 3 and you can choose different options for shape and color. These add such a fun pop of color.
Tie Dye Sweatshirt and Joggers
I got this set a couple weeks ago and it’s perfect for Spring color when it’s a little cooler at night. It comes in lavender tie dye and solid colors as well.
Tie Dye Slippers
I got these last summer and they’re still a fave pair of slippers. They come in other colors, but I can’t resist the tie dye!
Jersey Knit Tank
This one was in my latest Amazon haul and I immediately put it in my suitcase. It’s comfortable, great quality, perfect for layering and comes in several colors.
Lace One Piece Bathing Suit
When I saw this suit, I knew I needed it! It reminds me of the Becca lace swimsuit that is very popular, but it’s a fraction of the price. It’s modest, but has the lace that makes it anything but a “mom suit”!
Packing Cubes
Have you ever used packing cubes? I got these on a whim last year and I don’t know what I did before them. My whole suitcase is super organized and I can simply set out the cubes of each type of clothing and know where everything is.
Tie Dye Tee
This is an oversized pocket tee with the tie dye print that is perfect for lounging, wearing with shorts, or on a cooler day. I love this coral color that I got, but it also comes in other colors as well as stripes.
