Baby Update: 6 Months Old

Happy 6 months to my sweet Lincoln James! 

6 month stats:

Weight: 16lbs 8oz


Length: 27″


I’m packing little clothes that he’s outgrown like it’s my job. He’s very long and skinny, so separate pants don’t fit him well at all. I think he’ll live in onesies this summer! 

Eating: Nursing every 3-4 hours and now eating food twice a day. His favorites are sweet potatoes and pears! 

Sleeping: Since teething started a couple months ago, sleep has been not so great. But! One tooth is in now and the past 2 nights have been so much better! 

Likes: He LOVES sitting in his stroller, the Quinny Moodd. It sits him very upright and I think he feels like he’s part of the action. He loves going to big brother’s basketball and baseball games and being outside. Thank goodness for warmer weather, because we’ve been outside a ton lately. 

Dislikes: Still not a huge fan of the car, but so much better and he can put himself to sleep in there much faster. He doesn’t like when people are out of his sight at all! 

New this month: He can reach out to grab toys and bring them right to his mouth. He’s sitting with little support and scoots pretty well…backwards. Haha. He has his 1 new tooth and one just about to pop through. He says something frequently that sounds just like “Hi Dad”, which Cooper did, too. It’s adorable. He also does this funny little grunting noise that I totally need to get on video! 


I can’t believe we’re halfway to one year. Time goes faster with each baby, it seems. I’m trying to treasure every second of these sweet newborn days!
