I really want a bike trailer. I have been weighing the pros and cons and trying to decide on a good brand. I could use some opinions. Until then, here are the rattlings of my brain.
Pros:
It is fun.
Exercise = good shorts legs.
Cooper loves it outside.
It is big enough for another baby, unlike the single seat on the back of the bike. (No, I am not pregnant)
Cons:
Cooper has to wear a helmet.
I have to wear a helmet because I am an example. (I am so not okay with this)
I have a major fear that while zooming along, I will look back and the trailer will be left in the intersection. Then I will freak, fall off my bike, scrape up my now fabulous bike riding legs, run to the rescue and save Cooper all while looking like a fool with a massive helmet falling off and covering my eyes.

I love the cons! Too funny.

You are way too funny. It is odd that you posted this today because Alaina was just commenting today on how a lady with a bike trailer was not riding safely down the road. All your cons are all the same reasons why I would not like them either.

Well I’m all about more exercise…I am borderline obsessed with fitness and making sure my family gets enough exercise. I just signed us all up for a 6 mile walk for the March of Dimes this Sunday..Woot!

Ah that sounds fun! I thought about getting one of those jogging strollers that is also a bike trailer! Gee, we really will need a 3-car garage. 🙂

You’re so funny, you’ll look super cute in a helmet and I can’t wait to see pictures 🙂

Get the trailer. You won’t regret it. And what a great Earth Day splurge. Burley is the best. Read here:
