The boys and I are down in Georgia visiting my parents for a few days. It’s been making me crazy that we live close now, but I haven’t been able to get here while Coop’s been in school. I’m loving the feel of being home and the boys are having the best time riding around my parents land on the rover and staying up late.
My dad is a car guy and always has something fun. This trip, it’s an orange ’73 Beetle convertible that’s probably the cutest car I’ve ever seen. I got my fill of standard driving while cruising around with my teenage brother and sister. 13 and 14 years between us suddenly doesn’t feel like as much as it used to. They’re driving, sharing my clothes and working summer jobs. How did I grow up so fast?
