One of the strangest Easters I’ve had turned into one of the most special! We had a really great weekend spending time together, dyeing eggs, having our own personal hunt in the backyard, watching church online and playing games. I’m so glad that we were able to find most of the things we wanted for the day and even the things we didn’t have turned out to be just fine!
The bunny brought practical stuff like coloring books, gel pens and the London version of our favorite game, Ticket to Ride!
Cooper picked a Cadbury Egg cake that he really wanted to make, so I gave him the reigns. We didn’t realize it had to chill 5 hours, or overnight, so we ate it Monday! Also, turned out we didn’t have the Oreos we needed for the crust, so the boys pitched in some from their Easter baskets that were strawberry flavor. It ended up tasting really good and he was so proud of his creation!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend with your families. It was weird not seeing family like we had planned, but we got to FaceTime with everyone. Man, I’m grateful for technology right now!
I’ve had several requests for different topics that I’m going to try to hit this week. I also started closet purging, so a lot of energy is going there! I am really hoping for a more simple, clutter free life after this time at home!
