Fashion Friday! Another day of self portraits. Aren’t you jealous?
This week, Ross called my name. I walked in and within 5 minutes, I was in the dressing room with this baby.
I love Maxi’s, but being the great big height of 5’2”, I can’t find many that fit. I knew when this one was the perfect length, that I couldn’t pass it up. Oh, and the color. My daddy loves me in purple, and I am the biggest daddy’s girl in the world.Did you notice that chair wasn’t in the picture last week? That’s because we moved our living room furniture around. And in case you were wondering, I love it.
I love that the ruffles go all the way around the back.
The headband is the same one that is in my giveaway, from the one and only Forever 21. Well, not exactly the same one. I bought you your own. The necklace is 3 diamonds from my Grandma’s tennis bracelet. When she passed away, my parents had all 4 of us girls necklaces made out of it, and they saved some for my brother to eventually make into an engagement ring. I love family jewelery!
Can you tell that Cooper loves Fridays? He is playing all happy, and as soon as I turn on the camera, he can’t. Stay. Away.

I think he just takes after me. Whoops. I look a little goofy here, but Cooper’s little passie grin was too adorable to pass up.
When I was just about to post this, the hubs just got home and called me Princess Leia. Then offered to take my picture. Uhh, little late, dude. There he goes again, putting his work and my livelihood before my blog. So selfish.

I love the color! I've always wanted to rock purple but I think having darker hair is the key. Maybe I'll try it again for Fall. Gotta love those maxi dresses 🙂

How cute! I've always been shy about trying maxi dresses — I have the opposite problem of being too tall so they hit at an awkward mid-calf level. But maybe I'll continue my search!

I love me some maxi dresses! And, I'm only 5'3…so, sometimes there IS some "draggage"…but, it's all good!

I love Maxi's! Ross is the best. Loehmann's has a bunch of them too with some great prices. I'm 5'7" and they are usually just the perfect length for me, so I can imagine you've got a little extra going on there!
I have SOOOOO been wanting one. I tried making one, and it just wasn't the same. COmfy yes…but other than trying it on after sewing it, I haven't worn it again. Oh well. That one is just too cute.
Have to say though, the pink and brown one with the low cut triangle shaped bodice paired with an orange tank top with regular straps as opposed to the maxi's halter straps…seen on a lady in Hobby Lobby this morning with a view of her panties…not so great. And I thought I love all maxi's.
Hopefully that lady does not read your blog. I am not trying to be mean…but that look was not her most flattering and the color combo was laughable. Again…not trying to be mean. I got a great smile out of it.

i just got my first Maxi and wore it yesterday, i love it! but i do have to pick it up sometimes, cause it just barely touches the ground. not enough to trip when normally walking, which is good.
I LOVE that maxi! The color looks gorgeous on you. I have 3 of them but only 2 are long enough (I'm 5'7 and I think I have the opposite problem as you do with length). They're so comfortable and stylish, I love the boho band with yours 🙂 Cooper looks like a really fun little man!
