Scenes from Halloween 2o23!
Our first snow covered Halloween was this year! It was such a fun and freezing night and the boys had a blast.
I love themed food so packing their snacks and lunches was a lot of fun for me. I did spider peanut butter crackers, mandarin orange pumpkins, ghost cheese sticks and served my classic popcorn trail mix in skeleton hand bags. I got a skeleton ice cube tray this year and used it to make white chocolate covered raspberries. They looked so cool and a bit spooky in the eyes!
A new favorite thing this year was my skull pan that I used to make pumpkin muffins in the morning and calzones that night. The kids loved the calzones before we went out trick or treating!
While the kids sorted all their treats and swapped candy with the neighbors, we handed out candy while sitting by the fire with friends. A new experience for me for sure, coming from a girl who never trick-or-treated, especially in this cold weather!
Hope you had a Happy Halloween!
