I know I’m harping on the house thing these days, but it happens to be my life.
I think we’ve seen about 60 so far, so I’ve learned a thing or two about what I like and what I don’t. I’ve also gotten some ideas of things I would like to have in a house, like this backsplash.

Or this nifty little thing.
It was child height in a basement, and one side was chalkboard and the other magnet board.
Then there are things that make me cringe a little. {Or cry, depending on how many houses we’ve been to that day.}
Like so much crap that I can’t tell top from bottom.
Or kids rooms with paint on EVERY. SINGLE. INCH.
Or CD’s on the bathroom ceiling.
This was completely and totally for reals. The entire bathroom was bright red, with these CD’s on the ceiling.
(Although, it did complement the purple carpet in the living room.)
We haven’t gotten anything yet, so the search goes on!
{Please pray for my sanity. Or for my men. Or the sweet ladies washing the hotel wine glasses.}
You really shouldn't be looking at homes where their owners are on crack … cd's on the ceiling? Really? LOL! Try to keep your head up, girly … we love you!! :o)

Oh yeah, those cds are just a little too much. I wonder why someome would even decorate that. All these wrong houses will lead you too the perfect one love!!!

oh my. I love the kitchen in the first one. CD's I just wonder about some people. Did they honestly think that would look good? Well I hope you find something you love soon.

Omigod I can't believe how people leave their houses when they are trying to sell them! We're fixing ours up to sell right now and it's a huge job. I'd be so embarrassed to have people come through my house with all that junk laying around or freakin' cds on the ceiling of the bathroom. That's just crazy! 🙂
There were some houses that Nick and I stepped one foot it and turned right around and walked out the door. As a previous real estate agent, I could not BELIEVE how these people's agent's were listing their houses for sale in that condition!! Where is the staging?? It drove me crazy, and it's so frustrating. I hope you find your perfect home soon, as I said before we looked at 120 places- your house is out there, don't get discouraged!
oh my word. it amazes me what people live with/in. that room that is a mess made ME want to cry, and I'm just staring at a picture!
you poor soul. id gouge my eyes if i have to look at another 60 houses. you should totally hit up House hunters. Im sure you would qualify.
OMGee on the horrific paintings and the cds. That takes elbow grease. The clutter, eh – that will leave when they leave. However, you have to do the work on the other two. Yikes!
60? Wow… it is quite a roller coaster isn't it? Hang in there… at least you are finding the humor in it. 🙂
that bathroom is best enjoyed on acid, ONLY!, no sane people here! i am currently lookin for my first house, im actually under contract but have been waiting over a week to hear back about what he is going to fix based on the inspection, i might be losing my mind!

Yeah, house hunting can def be interesting. I was a Realtor for a while and would always be a little surprised how some people would decorate their house or how messy some people could live. Just remember to try and stay focused on the actual house and not the seller's belongings/taste. Good luck!!

Haha, I can't make fun too much of the CDs because in my rebel years of high school – like my freshman year – i hung a huge amount of cds on my walls cause I thought it was sweet – looking back, not so much haha.
