I’m a nurse. I graduated 6 years ago, but between moving and having Cooper, I’ve only worked for about 3 years. I’ve been thinking alot lately about getting back into it.
I know I don’t want to give up being at home with my little man, but I want to do like 1 shift a week.
Soooo, I found the dream job. Then I applied. And this morning, I have an interview.
And now I’m freaking. What have I done!? Do I really want to go to work? You peeps told me a while back that I needed to for sanity’s sake. Look what you did to me! Ehhh, at least I’m relaxed and feel comfortable if I get the job or not.
Have to admit that I’m pretty excited about dressing up for a reason. Hehe. Lets hope I can get it pulled together at 5am!

Lots of luck, girly!! I work 2 nights a week, and I love being able to get a way for a few hours. Plus, the extra cash definitely makes it all worth it!!

Good luck!! You're going to go great! I've been working part time with my firm since the boys have been born and it's awesome. I get to be around adults 3 days a week and hang out with my little men 4 days in a row! I hope it all works out – fingers crossed 🙂

You're are going to rock! And 1 or 2 days a week isn't bad, but I think anymore than that, is borderline too much. You start to not have time to clean or more importantly, blog, shop, or skype 😉 Good Luck!!

Good luck! 🙂

Good luck to you! I have been a stay home mom since this past June for the 1st time ever. While I am enjoying all this time with my son I keep finding myself looking at the classifieds for part time positions…maybe something a couple days a week. I worked part time previously but it was 5 hours a day and 5 days a week. I wished I could have stayed home at least 2 days to get chores done etc. Definitely give you some YOU time. Hope your interview goes great!

Best of luck, I know you will do great! I'm in the same position. Hadn't worked in 3 years, was finally hired as a property manager 5 months ago and was told the day I started the bldg. I was hired to manage was up for sale. So the bldg sold, and now I'm without a job again. Starting over always sucks! Cracked up at your picture above!!! Because I am also interviewing and looking for a new job, could I use the same picture but reference your blog as to where I got it from? Think it, and you, are both hilarious 😉
