While I’m a tad apprehensive about living in cold country, I am VERY excited about building our new house! We bought our lot last fall, but the construction just started this month. We are going in a very different direction from our current house, as far as style goes, so I wanted to share! These are the images that I brought to the designer as we started deciding what the house design was going to be. I’m pretty nervous to see what it will actually look like, since we picked everything and I sent them a google drawing image I made. Our designer was awesome and gave us great suggestions as well as assured us we chose materials and colors that work together.
I read and watched a lot of designer videos about upcoming trends and colors, so we are going a bit more edgy and modern. I didn’t get The Hubs on board with quite as much gold as these photos show, but I definitely got it in there! I think the dark exterior will be so pretty covered in snow! That is if I ever leave the inside of the house to look at it all snow covered. Hehe.
LOVE IT ALL!!!! Although, I do agree minimal gold is best. It can get tiring.
