Today is the day that I can shop the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, as it is now open to anyone with a Nordstrom card. (I have a debit card that I don’t think they offer anymore!) Here are my honest thoughts on the sale:
They have some good deals on brand name pieces that I like. Spanx leggings, Zella leggings, Tory Burch bags, my go to skincare kit, Hunter Boots, and my favorite self tanner. I am not one to spend tons on clothing items, but there are certain staples I love and know they are worth the investment.
They sell out like crazy. This infuriates me. I made this entire collection of pieces I liked when the sale started and tons of them are sold out right now. They will restock here and there, so it’s worth keeping an eye on something you like, but I don’t like it at all!
The hype is way overblown. If you follow any bloggers at all, you’ve had the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale pushed down your throat for 2 weeks. It opens in tiers, depending on how much you spend. I honestly don’t spend much there, so I am in a lower tier, but I just don’t think it’s worth the hype about it. Often times, their own branded pieces will be cheaper in a couple months when fall hits anyway. So unless you really love something, it’s probably worth waiting.
The kids items are decent. This is the first time I have actually shopped for the boys. If you need athletic branded clothes for your kids, they do have a good selection on sale!
What are your thoughts on the sale? Do you find items you like this year?
