Lying in bed a couple nights ago, I told the hubs “I’d do just about anything to drop these 5 lbs”. Then immediately started laughing.
Because, obviously, I’m not willing to do anything at all.

I’ve eaten all of it this morning.
Hi, my name is Molly and I have no self control.
I eat tons of fruit and veggies, we rarely eat red meat or pork and I only buy whole grain breads, but I’m a snacking machine. I always have to have something salty with sweet, so my little piece of chocolate always comes with a side of potato chips.
And don’t even get me started on the holiday goodies. If it says “Limited Edition” its coming home with me. (See the fudge covered Ritz? Amazeballs.)
I am getting used to the fact that I would much rather eat than be comfortable in my pants. At least through the holidays. Then I may throw some exercise in with the snacks…or not.
I am the exact same way! Put anything munchable in front of me, and I will eat my way through half the box before I even notice it's there.
And I don't really intend to stop. =)
I call it lack of discipline. Same problem here. 🙂 It also leaks into other parts of my life like still being in my pajamas (at 10:15), thinking I may not get anything productive done today because it's cold out and I don't feel like leaving, and gorging myself on sweet treats while the boys nap. 😉 Enjoy! Ha.
i just bought those christmas tree cakes over the weekend! i LOVE them! i had one for breakfast two days this week….ha! i probably could've eaten the whole box in one sitting 😉
and the chocolate covered ritz, i bought those a while back after seeing a tweet from you about them!! 😉 they are delicious as well!!
Thats exactly what I want to lose also, the last 5 lbs of baby weight…uhm he's 3, don't think I can still count it baby weight..With that- I'm off to eat my lunch consisting of brie, crackers, pasta, and a Large pepsi.

You sound like me! I eat healthy but I snack so much! And I definitely didn't know they made chocolate covered Ritz…I just bought some plain ones! But I want those!
Honey, I bought two boxes of those Christmas tree cakes home and ate. every. single. one. And I wondered why I had gained 4 lbs… Seriously. I can't keep sweets, because I will eat them all.

Girl, I am with you 100%! Im a crazy snacker! Esp with chocolate..I have to have something chocolate after lunch/dinner. Otherwise, I dont feel like Im finished!!
Oh how I WISH I only had 5 pounds left to lose! I got more like 25!! But I'm in the same boat motivation-wise. Christmas time is sure hard to stick to it!

I say enjoy them! Christmas only comes once a year. Exercising can happen any ole' day. 🙂
