Happy September! We had a full Labor Day weekend, celebrating our little man turning 2 and lots of going and doing! In true me fashion, here is my September meal plan, 5 days into the month. One of these days, I’ll have it prepared before the month begins, but that might be 20 years from now!
If you’ve never read anything about my meal planning methods before, you can check out my post on Monthly Meal Planning here. While I have changed a lot about what we actually eat and am shopping more on a weekly basis, that post is still how I go about my planning. I also try to stick in 1-2 new meals, most of which are from Pinterest. If you want to look back at another month, here is my June meal plan. And last thing before the actual menu, is my post on how I made my DIY Menu Board! A ton of y’all were asking on Instagram, so go make yo’self one! (As I write this, I realize I have “menu” above the plans and “plans” above the menu. I may meal plan, but I’m still a hot mess!)

I’m going to post a recipe for the Balsamic Sheetpan Chicken soon. It’s just chicken breast and whatever veggies you like on a sheet pan. I mix balsamic vinegar, olive oil and italian spices, then drizzle it all over and bake at 400 for 45 mins.
Speaking of balsamic vinegar, I’ve been eyeing these Sweet Potato Goat Cheese Rounds and I need to throw a party to make them!
There is a LOT of baseball going on this month, so I stuck to very simple recipes, most of them requiring 1 pan. I don’t have time at night to be cleaning tons of dishes! My go to sides are obviously potatoes and green beans, just because that’s what is most liked around here. I will sometimes mix it up and do sweet potatoes, or some other kind of veggies, depending on what I have that week. I’m big into flexibility, but this menu really keeps us from eating out every day, or scarfing down sandwiches on the way to the ball park. I hope that this is helpful to you, too, in your fall business!
Do you have an easy go to meal? Tell me about it. I’d love to try it!
