Valentine’s Day was so fun!
I made these lollipop flowers as a centerpiece.
Seeing it in pictures makes me think I went just a bit overboard.
All of our red drinks and festive plates ready for breakfast.
Heart shaped and pink sprinkled pancakes with strawberries.
His little morning face melts me.
Checking out his new Toy Story game.
This kid LOVES to make cookies!
And make them we did. Lots of them. Not sure why either because I’ll be eating them for daaaays.
Hubs and I had our fondue in the living room after we put Cooper to bed. And yes, that is a MASSIVE pile of carbs. Bread and potatoes. We did eat meat and veggies, too. Just nowhere near as much.
Then chocolate fondue dessert. I went a little nuts and made chocolate covered strawberries and huge chocolate white chocolate caramel pecan covered apples.
Spending dedicated time with the hubs made me realize how nice it is to just chat over dinner. After becoming a parent, its easy soo easy to put all the attention on your child and forget about your marriage. So, we decided to eat dinner after we put Cooper to bed once a week. I’m excited for “date night” even though we’ll be staying in and following up dinner with The Bachelor. Hehe.
YUMMO!
What a fun day!
The fondue look awesome. I want a fondue pot and chocolate covered strawberries.
Everything looks so good. We also decide on staying home and made dinner for all 4 of us.
Funny, I purchased triple chocolate caramel apples for dessert 🙂
Yummmm! You definitely win the fancy pants award, love your decor and all the little touches! We did a home cooked meal, sans any heart shaped food. The meatballs wouldn't cooperate 🙂 We're on a mission to add more traditions each month, like pizza night, or breakfast for dinner night something to change it up!
I love it! I don't think you went overboard 😉 I do LOVE the huge wine glass as well!! haha
That fondue looked amazing! Om nom nom :). Once a week date nights is a great idea, even if you're just staying in. I might have to steal it!
PLEASE post how you made your caramel apples!
Not overboard! Total festive and cute! Love the fondu idea, and think date night with the hubby is awesome.
That date night is a good idea 🙂 And those apples? Look divine!
How adorable! I love the breakfast!
You are too cute 🙂
We talked about that tonight, too. Having a "date night", even if it means watching a movie together after bed.
So sweet! I love your centerpieces and the heart shaped pancakes! I have always wanted to do fondue for dinner! I'm glad y'all had a wonderful day and evening!
Love the new dinner tradition. I will have to remember that when the kiddos start comin'
Looks yummy and fun!
Love it!! I wish I could as creative as you! Maybe one of these years!!
Fondue and Chocolate fondue! Yummo!!! And that is a great idea to do dinner date night once a week with hubs!
So cute! Boy you were busy. Happy V-day!
I love it all. Your little man reminds me of mine. Stunning blue eyes! 🙂
before my daughter could babysit the kids, we used to always have a date night once a week at the house… it always consisted of a movie & dinner when the kids went to bed,, it used to be sooo much fun! sometimes we would set up the air mattress in the family room for the movie & then we would chat all night!!
SERIOUSLY!?!? You are super mom and wife!!! This is so sweet! I love all of your festive decor and food! Molly, you seriously inspire me! So sweet that you and your hubs got some alone time too 🙂
