Need some help finding time to wash your 5 day old mom hair? Let me show you how.
Put sleeping baby in the swing. (This is the swings permanent spot)
Setup the toddler with a laptop streaming a never seen Netflix movie.
And just like that, you have a long at least 20 minute peaceful shower.
You’re welcome.
Lol, I hear you…whatever it takes!
Been there, done that & had the mom hair.
well, I've tried this too. And my 2 year old smacks the crap out of my laptop. So we can't do it. ha!
Oh yeah. I'm familiar with that scenario. 🙂
I'm due for baby #2 in June and my daughter will be 2 in June. I have already thought, how am I going to take a shower? I think I'll be using your idea. Thanks!
Just found your blog! Love it! I am going to blissdom as well! Maybe I will meet you there!
Lol~ what happened to your streak of daily showering? 🙂
Good idea.
The 2 yo who smacks the laptop- spanking.
Daddy can watch the kids too. There's no reason to EVER miss out on a shower.
yes, sadly that is the Mommy's life. I always tell my Hubs how much I envy him because he can jump in the shower when ever he wants without a care in the world
I would never leave my two year olds with my laptop. It would just not work.
Nice bathroom.
Haha! I love this!
If this was my house… The baby would be on the floor and my toddler would have the ipad in the swing.
I seriously just laughed out loud…this is totally my family!
LOVE.
Glad I'm not the only one with 5 day old mom hair!!!! Dirty hair loves company 🙂 I've actually contemplated bringing my son in the shower with me in his Bumbo seat. The swing is clearly a much better idea. I will be trying this method out ASAP. Bathroom looks gorg!
Can I just say thank you for not trying to act like 2 kids isn't hard? I have another friend who posts beautiful magazine type photographs every day on facebook and professional pictures of her family at every week. Makes me sick. I went for days without shower, and even then never actually had enough time to blow dry my hair. It's a sacrifice!
I guess I must be missing something if so many moms don't get to take care of their own personal cleanliness. Is it just that they don't take the opportunity to shower when their husband is still at home in the morning? Or what about when he returns home from work? I'm a SAHM, but I always find time to shower and dress in clean clothes everyday and we're on baby #3. Where there is a will, there is a way. I suppose I should tell my husband more often that I'm thankful that he helps out with the kids so I can handle my business.
Oh yes… I did this same thing except I used a vibrating bouncy seat.
