We finally finished school last week. It felt like the day wouldn’t ever get here! Cooper has grown so much in the past year. We were so blessed that he had the most amazing teacher and he really excelled in 1st grade!
He also grew quite a bit physically. He’s starting to look like a big kid and not so much like my little baby anymore! He grew 2 shoe sizes and one clothes size over the course of the year, too. Even though he’s still super scrawny, he can pack away some food! He’s one of the tallest in his class, even though he’s one of the youngest.
We kicked off the first week of summer with a pool day yesterday, followed by a tooth extraction this morning. I was getting queasy watching the dentist poke and pull on that tooth, but Cooper did great. He’s already running around here like nothing happened.
We’ll keep the positive things coming as we head to the beach later this week! We wanted to go ahead and get our vacation trips done early since I won’t be able to travel come August. In a few short years, I’ll have school before and afters of 3 wild boys! Holy crap!
He does look so much older! Enjoy your summer!!!
