Happy Monday and welcome to week 3 of our Water Drinking Challenge! This post is late in the day because the week has turned into a busy one. We had a great weekend with lots of family time, lake time and water drinking. I chugged water like a crazy person all weekend because it was hot as fire crackers. I was very mindful of drinking a lot yesterday, especially, and nearly cleared out the cooler. I’ve noticed that a strong focus on water also causes me to drink water when I’m thirsty and then sip a cocktail for fun. That equals a much more enjoyable day, versus coming home feeling dehydrated and like you had a little too much to drink!
This week, we’re back at it with week 3 of the water drinking challenge. Make sure to join Heather and Jessica to see how their challenge is going and get inspired by some amazing mommas! This is a holiday week and I know people are busy, but I challenge you all to add 3 days of a 30 minute walk or run. Wake up early and go alone, take your babies in the stroller, go when your hubby gets home. Whenever you can, try to fit it in!

We have been busy already this week, have plans with friends a couple days, vacation days off and friends coming in from NY. I know that on busy weeks like this, I have to be especially proactive to get my workouts scheduled. Here’s what I’m doing this week!

Today, we ran when it was WAY too hot out. It was a brutal 3.1 miles, so I won’t be going that late in the day anymore this week. Or maybe not that late this summer at all! During the summer, these are my go-tos.

We’ve been doing a lot of water sports lately, too, which is a great workout. I’ve attempted to wakesurf several times and got SO CLOSE, but kept crashing. Not giving up, y’all. I’ll be trying again tomorrow! I think I’m really doing it because I want to get one of those cute long sleeve wake boarding suits. Haha.
