Happy Monday! It’s the boys last official week of school, but Cooper is already finished and Callan has very minimal left. We are already in summer mode!
This weekend was full of sports, friends and a lot of fun. Cooper had his last playoff basketball game and while they lost, it was to the undefeated 1st seed and they really held their own. I really loved watching him grow this season and he wants to continue in the winter.
No weekend is complete without a boat day and this weekend really felt like the first summer day on the lake. It has been unseasonably cool and I’ve only surfed a couple times, but we went up to 90 and full on boat weather last week. There will be many more days of brother boat wrestling this summer!
Friday night, it was my turn to host supper club. We have been doing this for a few years now and it is THE BEST. I decided to make it a bit more interesting and turn ours into a murder mystery night! I saw Christina of Carolina Charm host Murder in Margaritaland and knew I needed to do it, too! It was a blast of a night and so fun to pull out some of the decor I used for The Hubs tropical birthday.
Continuing the sports weekend, Lincoln played his last baseball game of the season on Saturday morning. T-ball is just the most hilarious thing to watch and he has really enjoyed his first year of ball.
Saturday night, we went for an impromptu dinner out with our friends. I was tired, but couldn’t pass up a night at On The Nines. It was somehow my first time ever going to this great Lake Norman restaurant and I loved my food! Beet salad with a side of fries, that’s my type!
Sunday, we watched church, with our regular family laundry folding session! I think that’s the reason we haven’t actually been back to church yet. When is laundry going to get done!? Last night was the end of season mother-son baseball game with Callan’s team. The families all showed up and we had a great time getting beat by the kids!
A glass of wine on the deck rounded out the weekend, in preparation for this week ahead. I haven’t shared much more about our move yet, but we’ve been busy prepping the house here for putting it on the market. This week we have realtor photos, moving company inspection and several appointments for little things to be done around the house. Although we aren’t moving until later this summer, we are getting all the things done in advance. I put a poll on Instagram to see if y’all wanted more info about the new house and it was an overwhelming yes! I have so many dream boards to be sharing, so as soon as we get the house stuff done here this week, I’ll share!
Have a wonderful week!
