Remember back in the day when I used to do a weekend wrap up every Monday? Yeah, me too! Sometimes I get so caught up in the “pretty” blogging, that I forget to show the regular. Day to day. What this blog was originally created on. So without further ado, here is our weekend wrap-up!
Weekend Wrap-Up
Friday we started off with a surf day. Yes, we surf a lot. But within 2 months, it’s going to be too cold, so we are getting in all the time we can! We let the boys knee board, which they’re really loving. Callan also dropped the rope and had a little run, which made us so proud! I can’t tell you how happy our family time on the lake makes me. I am so glad that this is something that we all love spending time doing, together.
Friday night, we had a going away party for one of my sweet friends. She’s been my neighbor for 5 years and I will miss her dearly. Good thing she’s only moving 3 hours away and that we have a girls trip planned for next month!
My parents got in during the wee hours of Saturday morning. They came just to see my boys play ball! We started Saturday with Callan’s football game, where he scored a full field touchdown all by himself. This kids is super athletic!
After that, we went straight to Cooper’s tournament. We saw the end of the first game, then the second. The games didn’t go as great as we’d hoped, but we really loved seeing him play and he pitched well! It was so nice to have my parents in town to cheer my boys on.
After the games, we grilled, ate ice cream and watched the new Aladdin. It was such a good movie!
On Sunday, it was back to the ball field, where Cooper’s team came out with runner up medal. It was fun to watch them play!
The day ended in complete exhaustion and a glass of wine during sunset. These days are long, but there’s no place I’d rather be that cheering on these sweet boys of mine!
