I’ve been drowning a little the past couple weeks. Trying to fit in all the stuff that needs to be done, from laundry, cooking, cleaning and school pickup, to running my business and keeping on my half marathon training schedules. It’s just been busy. Top that with not being able to find everything after moving in and I was becoming a bit crazy.
Finding a routine is hard and I think I just lost mine in the midst of all the moving and transition. Suddenly it hit me last week, that I had a good schedule going before we moved and all I needed to do was get back into it.
First up, was reprinting my busy mom’s Cleaning Schedule and getting it back on the wall. Focusing on a couple things a day is helping me not get overwhelmed and helping this house not look like a complete nightmare. I also just bought a dustbuster. This Black & Decker one to be exact. I have way too many crumbs on my floor to pull out the broom and dustpan twice a day!
Next up, was getting my meal plans back in line. I love, love eMeals but I wasn’t printing off and using the plans! I use their plans in combination with my own Monthly Meal Planning. Now, when I wrote that post, we weren’t eating as healthy as we are now. My meals look a bit different now and I could get away with less trips to the store. Now, I can go about once every 7-10 days. Which is way better than the every 2-3 I was doing last month. Ain’t nobody got time for that! I just started planning my whole month out again, which is so great for me. I don’t have to think or worry about dinner outside of my 1 nap time of planning.
Lastly, I got my workout schedule back in place. My training for the NYC half wasn’t that great, but I think I’ve found my stride. The hubs and I area also kicking booty in P90X3. Agreeing to workout together from 6-6:30am has been great so far. Accountability is where it’s at and I think both of our swimsuits will thank us come summer!
If you have tips for keeping me organized and on track, I’ll take them!

This is awesome, Molly!! I'm so printing these. I started T25 yesterday that and my runs I hope is enough to get me to my goal weight by summer. 😉

I wish I did have tips! I too have felt extremely overwhelmed by everything lately, and we're moving in 17 days!! Hopefully I can print these out and settling in won't take too long.

I love that you plan your meals a month in advance! that's so smart. I usually just do a week.. will have to try a month!

As we prepare to enter the 2 under 2 stage these plans will really help (I think). I am mostly worried about grocery shopping and prep for meals as I also work full-time outside of the home. I dont have hours to spend on either but want to eat healthy and cook for the entire family in ONE meal (not 4).

I have heard great things about P90x3!

Molly, if our Blissdom days tell me anything about how you run your household, your "ooc" is probably mild compared to mine. I was in amazement when you told me how much you did to get your hubs and kiddo's ready for your trip and planning ahead of time. You're super woman!

Girl, you are a genius. I never thought of meal planning out in advance. You are doing it once might as well do it all the way through the month. Im going to try this out. Thanks for the tip.

Gah, I really need to follow your example and get myself on a cleaning schedule!

I just got laid off and we've decided to make me a sahm, so I am trying to figure out a cleaning/cooking schedule. This really helps!!

I like the cleaning schedule, realistic and doable! I make a Six Most Important Things To Do list each night for the next day. These are my must-dos for the day, and if I get to other things, then great, but my main goal is for those six things. Keeps my on track and helps me to get done even the things for work and home I don't REALLY want to do but need to!

Great ideas! I have done T25 and have 5 weeks left of P90X3! And shakeology is amazing and a life changer as well! Glad you are enjoying it as well!
