These crispy, baked chicken sandwiches are a better for you, high protein version of a spicy Chick-fil-a sandwiches! My whole family LOVES them! They can easily be made without the spicy sauce.
Copycat Chick-Fil-A Sandwiches
Recipe:
5 large chicken breast, pounded thin and cut in half
Station #1
3/4 c flour
1 tsp salt
1 tap garlic
Station #2
1/2 c liquid egg whites
1 Tbsp Franks Red Hot
Station #3
4 cups corn flakes, crushed well
Sauce:
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 Tbsp Franks Red Hot
1 Tbsp ketchup
1/2 Tbsp pickle juice
Line baking sheet with foil and place cooling rack on top. Spray with nonstick spray. Dip chicken into each bowl, pressing well into the corn flakes. Place chicken on prepared pan and lightly spray with cooking spray. Bake at 400 degrees (I use convect bake) for 20 minutes or until chicken reaches 165 degrees. Alternately, you can cook these in the air fryer!
Generously spread sauce on both sides of a toasted bun. Add chicken and top with pickles. Make it a deluxe with lettuce and tomato! (Omit the sauce for those who don’t want it spicy)
