It’s been about a month, but I never shared Lincoln’s cute 1st Mickey Party! We just did a little family thing at our house, but I still can’t help but go a little wild. It’s our last first, after all!
I didn’t get as crafty as I normally like to for this party, but I did make these cookies. They took 3 nights, so I didn’t really have time for anything else. Haha. Royal icing isn’t actually that hard, just time consuming.
My friend made this onesie in like a day. She asked me while we were out what he was wearing and like 2 days later, this was in my mailbox! Her shop is Wittle Stitches if you need super cute personalized stuff!
There was a slight freakout after this picture, when he got the icing even more all over him than that! Beware that red and black icing for a smash cake isn’t necessarily the best choice!
I made the photo booth sign from cardstock, foamboard and scrapbook paper about 1am the night before his birthday. We got a lot of cute pictures with the family in it and it worked great in front of the wall of twisted streamers.
Here is where I got all the things I used for the party:
Mickey Cake and smash cake: Target
Mickey Sprinkles: Party City (available on Amazon)
Mickey Plates: I think Walmart, but also on Amazon
I had the tassel garland and tablecloth leftover from Callan’s 2nd Mickey Mouse Birthday party, but here’s a cute set for a great deal that includes tablecloth and all the paper products.
Happy Mousekeday to you!!
