It’s almost spring here in Charlotte, but it was perfect spring weather over the weekend in Georgia. So perfect, that Cooper finally got to wear this new shorts outfit.
Do you know how hard it is to get this child to wear a button down shirt? The child who wants to wear an Under Armor shirt for Easter? Good thing is, if there’s a hood on the back, he’s all about it!
The hubs picked this “Short Shred It Outfit” from FabKids this month. I think he secretly wanted to wear it himself. Hehe. The shirt is the softest flannel and the elastic waist, drawstring shorts are perfect for my skinny man!
I’m still in shock that I have a first grader. He comes home with perfect report cards and is way advanced in math and reading. He just started his first season of machine pitch baseball and I’d be lying if I wasn’t a little scared of him getting hurt. Does that ever stop as a mom? I’m thinking probably not!
He keeps telling everyone he’s 7, because most of the kids in his class already are. For his April Birthday, he wants a bounce house, to take all his friends out on the lake, a video game party and “probably Australian cowboys like on Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day”. Little does he know, there is no way that will all happen. Especially the the Australian cowboy part! I’m thinking this may be a good year for an away from home party. 19 7 year olds sounds like a lot to have in my house! What kind of places have you had parties? I need some ideas to suggest to him!

What a cutie! What about a trampoline park? We have one here in Columbia that has basketball courts and foam "bricks" you can jump into. I think there is one if not two in Charlotte area.
