I think I’ll just drag this trips post out cause sweet mercies, I miss it!
Thursday we got to our hotel, the Mandarin Oriental. Best hotel in Vegas, if you ask me. Its non-gaming, so its quiet, but its right next door to a great casino.

Dinner was poolside with a live band and the clinical strength wasn’t cutting it in the 100 degree weather. If ya know what I mean. Thank goodness the sun went down quick after we got there.
After some gambling lessons, we headed next door to City Center.
Where we made some money,
and some faces,
Then headed back waaaay past my bedtime.
Fast forward to this weekend…
We have some friends from California coming this weekend and I’m super excited! We have plans for wine tasting, DC sightseeing, and general troublemaking in the District.

I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental in Singapore once and it was FABULOUS. So I assume the one in Vegas is as well!

Vegas is fun! We stayed at The Venetian. Loved it! they do have gaming but our room was pretty far removed from all that. The Mandarin looks nice too! Great dress, great color!
