Remember a while back when I did a review of Head & Shoulders shampoo and conditioner? Well, I’ve been using it ever since then with fab results. Then I got an email asking if I would like to review their new scent of dandruff shampoo. In my mind, it was kinda like the infomercials when they say BUT WAIT! Then the deal gets a bit sweeter.

I am already convinced of Head & Shoulders’s ability to deliver virtually flake-free, beautiful hair, including the fact that it is gentle and pH balanced for everyday use even on color treated hair. But now, instead of a regular old dandruff shampoo smell, they go and give us:

My hair has had a clean, fresh green apple scent that lasts all day. After I’ve been spit up on and been on my hands and knees scrubbing the floor, at least I can count on my hair to smell good at the end of the day.

I went on a date night with the hubs for our 6th Anniversary back in December, and I wore a black top. Now, I do that very sparingly in the winter because honestly, I get flakies on my shoulders, and that is so.not.cute. Thankfully, I have been using the Head & Shoulders and it gives me confidence to wear black! (And navy and brown and all things dark and pretty.)

    On date nights, I put on light make up on and simple dress with a lot of accessorizes – I was inspired by one of those fashion on Pinterest. I found and wore last weekend. I loved it!

    Date night–hmm. Well I try to at least change out of sweats 😉

    I usually curl my hair, which makes its shagginess less noticeable these days. Pick a favorite outfit and then make sure I wear heels. I rarely wear them outside the office and I think the bf really enjoys seeing them since I wear Toms like 97% of the time!

    On date night, I love to freshen up my makeup, put on something a little sexy but not too much, light perfume and some heels. Somex I'll do my hair a little different.

    Date night? Whats that? 🙂 My routine always included a glass of wine, very loud music, and a long shower, followed by hair/makeup and approximately 12 outfit changes!

    Bath–to relax a bit before.
    Make up and hair style and then find the perfect outfit.
    I usually have either the radio (with music–not talk) on or the TV.

    Shower, blow dry and flat iron hair, then makeup. Followed by about an hour of trying on outfits, and occasionally an "I have nothing to wear!" meltdown. Usually the TV is on in the background, but if I'm smart, I put it on an upbeat music station to get jazzed. Yes, I just said jazzed… 🙂

    Nice long shower in which I do all the exfoliating and shaving (I'm a mom and legs get neglected now and then).
    I will blow dry my hair and then set it with hot rollers while I'll do my makeup.
    I will go for a nice dress or skirt since when I'm with the kids I wear pants mostly.
    HIGH heels for sure since the Hubs is way bigger than me.
    My favorite parfume (Jean Paul Gaultier)
    Take rollers off and leave as wavy loose hair.

    I definitely make sure to do something to my hair and actually put a little bit of makeup on. But more important is making sure I have on cute underthings for the husband.

    To get ready for date night I: pour myself a glass of wine, put on some good music, shower and shave, do my hair, get dressed, and then do my makeup.

    I've got a 15 month old & no close family… so my getting ready routine consists of getting my self ready (clean shirt with no cheerio mess on it) and then getting my daughter ready (cute outfit that is really impractical for daycare that we need to get more wear out of before she grows out of it). Meanwhile, my husband gets himself ready and takes out the dog… then the three of us head out on our "date" 🙂 I love it (but am REALLY looking forward to couples-time on our Chicago trip in a few weeks!).

    My routine for getting ready for a date night starts with a shower. I have very greasy hair and I need to wash it every day. Then, simple make up, hair-do and pick out the outfits….maybe my husband’s too.

    I don't get to go out on too many date nights these days, so I make sure I put on my sexiest pair of skinny jeans, hair down and perhaps a bit of shimmer in the makeup.

    Of course, I do the everyday things; shower, shave, makeup, hair, dress and heels but I'm weird. I have to brush my teeth like 100 times. I will be brushing my teeth right before we go out the door. plus I carry breath mints with me too.
