There isn’t much tastier in the summertime than a good sangria, am I right? I must admit that I’ve been missing fruity cocktails this summer and that’s why I’ve been sharing some fun mocktail recipes! This particular one uses two different kinds of Fre Alcohol-removed wines. One, a brut, which is delicious. It’s has the taste of a good, dry champagne, which happens to be my favorite beverage. A la, Heather of the Real Housewives OC.
The other is a chardonnay, which adds a bit of sweetness to the recipe and balances out the bubbly.

Ready for the recipe? It’s very simple and is best if you can make it a day ahead of serving. The fruit adds a lot of flavor after sitting awhile, but don’t worry. You can drink it immediately, too!
Recipe:
2 lemons, sliced into rings
2 limes, sliced into rings
6 strawberries, sliced
1.2 cup blueberries
1/2 bottle Fre Brut
1/2 bottle Fre Chardonnay
2 tsp grenadine
1/2 cup club soda
Instructions:
Slice fruit and put into desired container. This can be a pitcher, or a big bowl so people can ladle out some fruit with their drink. Pour wines, grenadine and club soda over fruit and chill, overnight if possible.
Did you know you should gently roll citrus before you slice it? Makes the juices come out more and you want all those yummy juices for this sangria! This recipe can easily be doubled, with the full bottle of both wines if you’re serving it for a group.
I like the Fre wines because they’re actual wine with the alcohol removed. Not a sticky sweet grape juice. The de-alcoholization process leaves less than 0.5% of alcohol, making it perfect for those who can’t or choose to not drink alcohol. Another added benefit is half the calories of traditional wine. Win!

Brut is my favorite Fre Wine too! It is so crisp and delicious. I didn't know that trick about rolling the fruit before slicing. #client
