Happy Monday! We had an absolute heart filling weekend with family, friends and so many good times.
We kicked off on Thursday night with Callan’s orchestra concert. I will tell you that this group has come a long way since their first concert at the beginning of the year and sounded amazing! 105 students on the cello, bass, violin and viola all in sync and sounding great.

Friday, I finished an 8 week workout program, Liift4 from Bodi and I’m DANG proud of myself! I don’t have abs like these folks yet, but I feel so much better, have way more definition and lost several inches!
I had lunch with a girlfriend that I hadn’t spent much time with lately and it was so good to chat. We went to Bobcat Bonnies and I highly recommend their salad and sandwich lunch deals! I am getting kinda over my winter clothing and ready for spring colors, but I do love the cardigan I wore!

That night we went on a date night with some of our favorite friends! I didn’t get any pictures, but our boys all hung out together and made dang nutella crepes! Callan loves cooking and so does his friend, so they usually whip up something pretty impressive!
Saturday was Lincoln’s last basketball game of the season. He has improved tons this year and is such a great basketball player! Coach dad is always taking good care of our boys!
We got this beautiful shot of our beach house, Anchors Awey, from a local photographer, OIB Mickey. I love being able to see our little neighborhood even when we aren’t there! If you’re interested in renting, we have summer dates available!
Saturday night, we met up with some friends and all ended up back at our house. We laughed harder than I have in forever and just had the best time. I am so incredibly grateful for the many amazing friends we’ve made here in Michigan!
Sunday was a day well spent. Lot of resting, reading, snuggles and finally a quick run to Dicks for all the baseball gear needed for the season. Lincoln is trying to win McDonalds lunch with his teacher for reading month, so he is reading an enormous amount. I keep finding him in this corner of the couch in the basement!
Now on to the meal plan! This week is a pretty light schedule around here, so I made sure to pick lots of meals I know my family loves. I’m happy for a bit of a sports break between basketball and baseball for some regular family meals together!
Weekly Family Friendly Meal Plan
Lemon Garlic Shrimp Pasta | Feeling a bit of comfort food for the menu this week, so pasta it is!
Blackstone Chicken Fajitas | I also love this sheetpan version for busy weeknights.
Honey Garlic Pork Chops | This is a new to me recipe, but it gets great reviews.
Homemade Hamburger Helper | Going to try this one for the first time, but use blended cottage cheese in place of the cream for less fat/more protein
Sheetpan Honey Buffalo Chicken | My family loves this meal! I leave some of the chicken without sauce for the non-spicy lovers.
Garlic Butter Steak | brussel sprouts and sweet potatoes | The boys devouer this steak. Can also be made on the Blackstone!
Shepherd’s Pie – St. Patrick’s Day tradition for our family, since we’re not big corned beef people!
Hope you all have a wonderful week!
